I am so truly excited to have you over to my tiny corner of the world. I am a 40 something year old living in the country with my high school sweetheart, turned husband and our miracle baby thru adoption, Norah Kay.
Old Navy Favorites
I LOVE being a girl mom, and I love picking out all of Norah’s clothes. To keep myself in line, I’ve adopted this idea of a toddler capsule wardrobe. I think you can define what capsule looks like to you, for me its a variety of play clothes, dress clothes and in between. I have a golden rule when it comes to Norah’s wardrobe. It’s an 80/20 rule. This rule helps me to build my toddler capsule wardrobe that won’t break the bank.
Eighty percent of the time, I buy inexpensive pieces. My favorite shops for these items are Thrift Shops, Old Navy, Target, Walmart, and Zara. My toddler capsule wardrobe is usually a combination of neutrals and soft textures. Waiting for sales and then bundling seasons is my preferred way to shop.
The other twenty percent of the time, I buy more boutique pieces that are only for special occasions. These are the pieces I tend to hang on to and treasure. Norah is a busy girl and loves the outdoors, so I try to make sure that her capsule wardrobe is full of things I don’t have to stress about getting dirty.
These simple Old Navy finds are usually on sale and wash well. I can mix and match the bottoms with a variety of tops and layer the dresses with sweaters and tights, if the weather is still cool. Hoping this helps you tackle Spring for your littles.
Happy Shopping, friend!
